Video: Webinar on applying for ECOSOC consultative status
In preparation for the 1 June deadline to apply for consultative status with ECOSOC, the NGO Branch invited interested NGOs to an informational session about the application process. The event was held on-line on 3 May 2019 at 11am (New York Time) and it was conducted in English. The meeting provided answers to the following questions: - What is Consultative Status, which organizations are eligible and what are its benefits? - How the entire application process works since the application is submitted to the NGO Branch until ECOSOC makes its decision? - What are the main components of the application package? After the presentation, the floor was open to answer questions from participants. The recorded video below includes both presentation, and questions and answers from participants.
